“Our company has been working with A&L Bookkeeping for over seven years. During that time, they have been a key partner in the growth and expansion of our small, family-owned business to a global market. They have always been timely and conscientious, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to any other business owner looking for work organizing and tracking the financials in their company.”

FAQs
-
Of course! Basic data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll are integral to keeping your business running. Since we do all of the little things ourselves, we are in a unique position to coach you through business decisions.
-
It’s important for us to get to know your business and how we can work together to fill the services you actually need. Once we’ve discussed how we can help, we will create a proposal specific to your wants and needs with all of the pricing details.

Some CPAs offer bookkeeping services, but many do not want to work on the day-to-day financials of a business. We can offer bookkeeping services at a fraction of the cost of most CPA firms and we are more accessible than larger firms. Questions you feel like you have to save until the end of the year for your CPA can be answered with one phone call or email to us mid-year.
CPAs love us! We do all of the data entry and maintenance throughout the year and then hand off neat books to them at the end of the year. None of them like getting a shoe box full of your crumpled receipts and bank statements, and an Excel spreadsheet of your expenses is only one step above that.
Ready to break up with your CPA? No problem. We can give you recommendations for our preferred CPA firms. We are confident that we can either join your current accounting team or help you build one to cover your financial needs completely.

We serve companies all over the United States! With today’s technology there is no geographical limit to our ability to assist you.

Every client is assigned a dedicated bookkeeper who takes the time to understand your business and ensure your bookkeeping needs are met. However, to provide you with the best possible service, there may be times when we need to reassign your account. This could be to balance workloads, accommodate team members’ time off, or match you with a bookkeeper whose expertise aligns even better with your specific needs.
We’re a tight-knit team, and we work closely to ensure a smooth transition whenever changes occur. We take great care in passing along important details so that your bookkeeping remains consistent and seamless—no matter who is handling your account.

You are losing money. Every minute you spend teaching yourself how to do your own accounting is a minute you did not spend doing what you specialize in. The average business owner wastes $200/hour on bookkeeping, when he should be serving his own clients. If you do not have an extensive background in accounting, you are probably not doing it well anyway. And let's be honest, you don't enjoy doing your own books.
-
I promise you your wife (I knew it was your wife!!) is sick of doing your bookkeeping. I know that because you have made it to the bottom of this web page and you wouldn't be here if things were working. Unless your wife had bookkeeping experience before she got involved in your business she probably does not know everything she needs to know to do your books accurately, nor does she feel good about doing them. Let us lift this burden from your family.

The Profit First philosophy shifts traditional accounting by prioritizing profit upfront. It advocates allocating a percentage of income to owner's pay and business sustainability before covering expenses. Founded by Mike Michalowicz in his book "Profit First: Transform Your Business from a Cash-Eating Monster to a Money-Making Machine," thousands of businesses worldwide now practice this proactive financial management approach.
